For this reason our Service Fee is 3% of net donations which pays for our ongoing web development, marketing and innovation. The WillWeMakeIt 3% is on net donations, not gross donations. So unlike services which take a percentage of the Gift Aid which the UK Government adds to taxpayers' donations, Will We Make It leaves that alone. Easy, enjoyable and affordable, that's our maxim!

As for banking charges, we are currently using PayPal for fast, secure and international online donations. Their banking charge is 3.4% + 20p and we are working to decrease this. So onto numbers: on a £20 donation by a UK tax payer, the benefiting charities will receive £24.16; if the donation is by a non-UK tax payer, the amount is £18.52. Considering some charities can spend 25% on fundraising, Will We Make It offers an affordable service which gives charities the added value of connection to their supporters through the Will We Make It social network.

For those that are interested; despite offering a pioneering innovative service, WillWeMakeIt is actually cheaper than the basic fundraising websites which people used to use back in the day.
