Now that team Gonzo was actually a team again it was time to get down to business, and that is exactly what happened....sort of....by accident. No sooner had the dust settled from the uproarious episode of finding another team mate than said team mate has already secured our first donation in the form of some jerry cans for extra petrol, wahey!
Then merely a couple of days later I hear from Stevie that he'd rung a mechanic friend for advice on what vehicle to use. He was told not to bother getting anything as said friend had just the right thing sitting around doing nothing (a '91 Fiat Panda 750L) and we can have it, fantastic! On top of this they will prepare the vehicle for the rally and provide us with any spares that we might need (sods law it will be something we don't take that will break). With that weight off our shoulders we will have more time to concentrate on landing more sponsors - though they may not all be as easy as that one - and raising plenty of money for the charities!
