The car is now ready. Or should we say ready as it will ever be. Put it this way; it made it to the service station at the end of our road.
So far the running cost of the car sits at about £320. Cost of the car £100. Cost of a paint job £20 (although it is now pink and has terrible overspray). Cost of tyres £200 (but hey they look the business!). Still wouldn't mind getting a new fuel and air filter which should cost another £30. So we will definately be under the £400 maximum spend on the car.
We have had all our jabs/vaccines. We can now sit back, relax and let rabid mongolian dogs lick our faces, share saliva with hepatitis carriers, and let TB carriers cough in our faces.
Anna has now passed her driving test (as of yesterday), so we can now share the driving.
We have been posting video's to you tube. Just log onto youtube.com and search for eshelby.
We will keep posting videos, and use this site as a journal during our trip.
