Massive, ridiculously hot, covered in deserts and some of the wildest jungles in the world, vast stretches that roads just don't reach; Africa calls the Adventurist like a siren in the night. Come hither and do thyself a mischief, she says.

The Adventurists Africa Rally starts in London's Hyde Park on Friday 18th July and after a huge party with the Mongol Rally teams heads south to Cameroon.

With no set route the teams are heading in search of the sort of moments to tell their grandchildren about over and over again until they fear coming to visit the old people's home. Each year will see a new destination but it will take about the same length of time, around 3 to 4 weeks.

If you already know what you'll have for dinner for the next two weeks, this adventure is not for you. But if your perfect day starts with another step into the unknown and a possible lunchtime appointment with total disaster, take off your shoes and make yourself at home. The Adventurists Africa Rally will sort you right out.

This adventure is basically untried, untested, and quite frankly dangerous, except we don't really know how dangerous. Which is why it will be so excellent, just not everyone's cup of firewater.
