About the Adventure
On July 18th 2008 we will be embarking on what is regarded as one of the hardest drives in the world, the Mongol Rally. We will be driving from Liverpool (the official start line is in London) to Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia.
Our 10,000+ mile route will take us one third of the way around the world covering the length of Europe, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and finally on to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The treacherous route embraces numerous mountain ranges and deserts, with roads ranging from bad to completely non-existent!
Through our fund raising we shall be providing much needed support for a number of charities operating in Mongolia. Our principal charities will be the Christina Noble's Children Foundation (CNCF) and Mercy Corps Mongolia. So please reach deep into those pockets and CAST YOUR VOTE!.
Will our mighty Suzuki power all the way to Mongolia with out a hitch or will our little rust bucket break down before we reach the starting line in London???
