About the Adventure Since 2001, brave souls have driven over 8,000 miles of inhospitable terrain from London, UK to Ulaanbaatar,
Mongolia in a car completely ill-suited to the task. Regulations specifically govern the size and power of the engine so as to make the journey a test of both mental and physical endurance. In the summer of 2008, we will participate
as the third Canadian team ever to run the gauntlet. Teams raise money for worthwhile charities, many of which
benefit impoverished Mongolian families, and other international causes, while each team is given the option of
supporting their own personal charities.
The rally’s official charities include MercyCorps Mongolia, Hope and
Homes for Children and the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation. We will also be supporting The Canadian War
Museum and Pure - The Clean Energy Trust as our personal charities.
We're currently focusing on fundraising. In celebration of our graduation, if you can afford to spare a little money, please give us a hand.
