About the Adventure
"Africa is there and we wish to cross it."
This summer, the three of us will leave the safety of London for the poorly-charted wilds of Western Africa. We're doing this because, well, when we signed up it seemed like a good idea, and by the time we thought about it a bit more the organizers had already cashed our check.
BUT! We're also doing this to raise money for charity! Two charities, actually. FrankWater and SendACow both do things to give Africans the opportunity to do what we do every day and take for granted: Drink safe water and make a living. Please join us and support these two charities.

What an amazing adventure! I still think that if you're driving through Burkina Faso, you should make a detour into Ghana and go to Paga (literally only 1-2 km from the B.F. border) where you can sit on a crocodile! When else will you get such a chance? I can't wait to see all the pictures and hear the stories. I'm a little bit jealous of you, but I'm going to use you as inspiration to embark on my own adventures at some point!
