About the Adventure Since the dawn of time it has been suggested that the boys of Wimbledon Park would one day attempt to drive to Mongolia in an old banger. So, following this calling, a team of three misfits was randomly pulled together in the pub and the preparations began.

We have our trusty steed (A 1989 VW Polo that does actually sound/feel like they're are horses under the bonnet), we have three massive brains and we have a map.

This car was previously owned by a granny, lying dormant on her drive except for the odd trip to Tescos for a bottle of Sunny Delight. Now it is time for this shiny piece of German precision-engineering to shake off those cobwebs and drive 10,000 miles to the heart of Mongolia.

We will be passing through more countries than I have fingers, including Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan to name a few. Through deserts and 4 mountain ranges. Temperatures range from 50 degrees to minus 15.

All are invited to the send off in Hyde Park in the 19th July to see 300 teams begin their epic ordeal. You are especially welcome if you donate money to our 3 lovely charities.

Your precious pennies will be going straight into the pockets of charities (unless you give Ben cash) that deperately need sweet monies.
