About the Adventure
On 19th July 2008 we will be joining the Mongol rally from Hyde Park to Ulan Bataar, Mongolia.
We are doing this to raise money for two charities - the Mercy Corps Mongolia and Hope and Homes for Children, a charity aiming to improve care for children in wartorn countries and AIDS orphans including closing state run institutions in Eastern Europe and move the children to family based care.
We are also doing it for the challenge, and we are expecting a real challenge. Our 1987 Fiat Panda, Arthur, will be our trusty steed for the journey, assuming we can get him an MOT. He will take us over 10,000 miles through Eastern and Northern Europe, Russia and through Central Asia to Mongolia - hopefully! Many cars do not make it to the end, but we are hoping that with a couple of spare tyres, a screwdriver and a lot of gaffer tape, we will get to Ulan Bataar.
Please take the time to sponsor the good causes we are supporting and to vote on whether or not you think we will make it!
Thanks!
Bryony, Rob and Dom

As a former proud owner of a Fiat Panda, I think you are stark staring crackers, the lot of you, but sounds like a fantastic challenge and I wish you all the very best of luck with your attempt, I am sure it will be the trip of a lifetime.
