About the Adventure
I am planning to drive the width of Nepal and the length of India in a 150cc rickshaw during the monsoon season. The planned route is about 3500 km, through areas no vehicles are meant to travel.
It appears that I might have signed up for something quite dangerous.
So if my untimely death is worth a bit of your money please don't hesitate and pledge as much as you can.
It's all for a good cause - so please dig deep! ;o)
Every cent/penny I raise will go directly to 2 charities.
Mercy Corps India - www. mercycorps.org.uk - strives to improve the lives of rural agricultural communities, they build community collaboration and fulfil health and economic needs.
FRANK Water - www.frankwater.com - is an independent bottled spring water company. FRANK aims to supply the UK’s demand for bottled water in a socially responsible way – by giving the net profits (100%) to water projects in India and Africa. By funding clean water projects, FRANK aims to bring about positive change in some of the world’s under-served communities. FRANK Water is a Bristol based charity.

The Rickshaw Run Summer 2008 is pretty simple. With no preparation and less luggage one flies to the subcontinent and does one's damndest to force 150cc of Indian engineering over thousands of miles of questionable terrain in around two weeks.
Upon arrival in Nepal we pause briefly for a game of cricket followed by tea and cakes before revving our engines and setting off. We stop on...
You are among the first fans & fundraisers to be let loose upon the WillWeMakeIt™ fundraising system - Congratulations! - but do let us know how we're doing! If there is a tweak or improvement you'd like us to make, pop the full details of it in here and our technical guru James will be onto it in a flash gordon!
