About the Adventure
On the 19th of July 2008, Princess Roo II, a 1990 Austin Maestro, bought for £126 from eBay, will embark on her 10,000 mile maiden voyage from Hyde Park in London to Ulan Bator in Mongolia via France, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Kazahkstan and Russia again and a load of other countries in between.
On board will be Adam and Tamsin, who between the two of them don't know one end of a monkey wrench from the other. They are attempting to raise a lot of money for Mercy Corps and Great Ormond Street, so please sponsor them (even if they don't make it to the end).
