Fairbridge is a national charity giving young people from disadvantaged urban areas a fairer chance to succeed in life.

The young people that we work with are aged 13-25. All are outside of education, training or employment, or at risk of dropping out. They have multiple needs, such as housing issues, drug misuse, offending, exclusion from school, long-term unemployment, and teenage parenthood. These young people are the hardest to reach - over 90% of them are referred to us by other organisations, such as Youth Offending Teams or Social services, who have found them difficult to engage; and yet every year Fairbridge wins the trust and commitment of over 3,500 of these young people, who all attend on a voluntary basis.

Every young person needs someone to believe in them and a fair chance to prove themselves, so that's what we offer through a unique combination of long-term support and practical learning experiences. We provide a safe environment where young people can escape from bad influences, and use our unrivalled experience to help develop the self-belief they need in order to change their lives.
