Charity Number: SC030289
With the collapse of communism and the command-economy that accompanied it, rural Mongolia found itself ill-equipped to deal with the new realities it faced. Mercy Corps supports indigenous non-governmental organizations and community leaders to identify priority community concerns, and assist them in addressing these issues, in partnership with local officials, while at the same time developing their abilities to deal with such issues in the future.
