Three Men in a Rickshaw / Karmachanic

About the Adventure
Tuk-Tuker, BollyWoody, Rick Shawington, Jimbian and Rose, hailing from territory as barren, demanding and hostile as Buckinghamshire and Parson's Green.
Pulling together world-beating expedition planning, bushcraft and survival skills, engineering savvy, sense of direction and abject stupidity, these two teams reduce any challenge to the kind of hassle brought on by a weekend jaunt through Kent.
Whether we make it, or end up as stars of Indian 999, we hope our legacy will be - with your help - a reasonable amount of wedge for charity. Thanks.
Thanks to Ruth Jackson who donated £250 through Rose Goldman's account and is therefore not properly credited on the donation page.
Rose Goldman 2008-08-29 £801.28 (£625 + £176.28 giftaid) This donation is from cheques given to me from Sarah and Mark Radcliffe, Dai and Ann Evans, Genvieve Mather, Caarsten and Jutte Borch and Amanda Platt. |
Richard Fagan 2008-06-16 £20 Seeing as I saw you for lunch today I know you 'made it' but good luck nonetheless!

Litsa Synesi 2008-06-14 £25.64 (£20 + £5.64 giftaid) I always knew you would make it... not. Well done boys and girl xxxx |
The Rickshaw Run Summer 2008 is pretty simple. With no preparation and less luggage one flies to the subcontinent and does one's damndest to force 150cc of Indian engineering over thousands of miles of questionable terrain in around two weeks.
Upon arrival in Nepal we pause briefly for a game of cricket followed by tea and cakes before revving our engines and setting off. We stop on...
You are among the first fans & fundraisers to be let loose upon the WillWeMakeIt™ fundraising system - Congratulations! - but do let us know how we're doing! If there is a tweak or improvement you'd like us to make, pop the full details of it in here and our technical guru James will be onto it in a flash gordon!

I'm sure after the rugged terrain that Oxford and London offer this will be a walk in the park. Three useful phrases: Mujhe pratham puraskaar milne kii aashaa hai. (I hope to win the first prize.) Mai bahadur aur nidar hoon. (I am brave and fearless). Mujhe thunde aur geele hawaa ke beech khada rahena pasand nahi hai. (I don't like standing about in a cold wet wind.
