About the Adventure
Dominic, Pat and Vicki, trying to get from London to Mongolia in a 28 year old Austin Allegro to raise money for some truly fantastic causes. We're going to raise money for some of the poorest people in the world and for orphans living in South-Eastern Europe and North Africa.
These people have suffered war, famine and disease, and all we have to do is drive a car to Mongolia, so dig deep and help us raise some cash for those who weren't born as lucky as we were.
We and they will be forever grateful for whatever you can spare.
We'd also like to thank Sohonet for their very generous donation, thank you very much guys!
We've probably told you all about it already, but if you'd like to find out more, or for updates, please visit our website or email rolling.anomaly@googlemail.com.

Mary McPeake 2008-09-11 £64.1 (£50 + £14.1 giftaid) Hello Pat. Glad to know that you successfully made it. Bet you did no t know that I once had an Allegro - mustard yellow UCA 797R, it did realy well until John decided to test out how fast it would go on a run to teh archive in Runcorn and was never the same after that! Hence our long standing love affair with VWs. Love Mary, John and Sarah |
Amy Gilman 2008-07-22 £32.05 (£25 + £7.05 giftaid) I know I've only sponsored you after you've set off but better late than never guys! I have massive confidence in you to make it and to make it in style!

Christopher Duffield 2008-07-13 £128.21 (£100 + £28.21 giftaid) Whilst seeking to drive to Ulan Bator evokes thoughts of heroic endeavour, I'm afraid opting to do so in an Austin Allegro actually suggests a worrying degree of mental instability. There are many reasons BL went bust, and you are driving ore of them. But the best of British to you all. |
Christopher Duffield 2008-07-13 £128.21 (£100 + £28.21 giftaid) Whilst driving to Ulan Bator may be seen as rather heroic, I'm afraid opting to do so in an Austin Allegro suggests a worrying degree of mental instability. You'd probably do well to swap it for a camel when you get there. Good luck! |

What's the point?
The world is just a little bit too safe. Gone are the days when the edge of the map called you forth to discover what lay beyond - satellite maps and GPS have it laid out before you leave the armchair. What if you want th...
