About the Adventure
Having spent a couple of months cruising round middle England in a VW camper, we decided to step things up a notch and try to make in to Ulan Batur in a thoroughly unsuitable vehicle with no mechanical skills between us whatsoever.
Basically the challenge is to make it 40% round the earth's circumference in a car with an engine under 1 litre....
We've been having a whole load of fun doing cooking/marquee erecting/rugby coaching...etc...jobs to pay for the car, fuel, flights, accommodation and visas, but have to raise £1000 for Mongolia Mercy Corps.
A bit like sponsorship for the marathon, 100% of this money goes to charity. Mercy Corps Mongolia helps rural communities become more self-sufficient, and better linked to local, regional and national markets-really good stuff.
We're going to be doing a poker night and bridge drive evening, but £1000 still seems like quite a lot. So...if you could be generous enough to donate anything at all-no matter how little or large, it'd be hugely appreciated.
