About the Adventure Us: The Tesco Chainstore Managers. Think of us as Mad Max, but with an NVQ in retail science.

The Challenge: To drive the 8000 miles to Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia in a car of no more than 1000cc.

Dear God, Why??!!: To raise lotsa luverly money for some very deserving causes while having the most adventuringest adventure of our lives so far.

Apparently one of the teams on another event raised £4255, which seems difficult to beat, but not impossible, so if everyone puts an extra couple of quid on their donation we can all have the satisfaction of knowing that we are more generous (and therefore, like, better) than them. Be a winner!

Word of advice: If a big truck starts following you for hundreds of miles and you can't see the eyes of the driver because of a shadow and he's constantly chewing but he's following you for that long that the chewing gum has clearly lost its flavour - then don't stop. Perhaps practice refuelling on the move before leaving just in case.
